Action required: Salesforce workflow rules retiring
Salesforce is ending support for Workflow Rules and Process Builder on December 31, 2025, and will no longer provide customer support or bug fixes for Workflow Rules and Process Builder. While existing webhook subscriptions may continue functioning, they will become unsupported after the deadline. We recommended that you migrate your webhook subscriptions to the Flow Builder before that time.
The good news? Prismatic now offers flow-based features to replace the workflow rule functionality. And the Salesforce Flow Builder provides significantly better performance and reliability than workflow rules. Outbound Message functionality will remain unaffected since flows are compatible with Outbound Messages.

Build AI-powered integrations
Transform your product's integrations with built-in intelligence. Prismatic lets you drop in AI connectors, orchestrate agent flows across systems, and give your AI agents live context via Model Context Protocol (MCP). You don't need to rebuild your integration layer to launch smart features quickly.

Build Integrations with the Tools You Love
Build, test, and deploy SaaS integrations in code with your IDE, Git, CI/CD, and API support – and let your non-devs create integrations with the low-code designer.

Why strong developers matter more than ever in the age of AI
Our CEO, Michael Zuercher, explains why AI is making developers faster and more productive, but not replacing them. Strong dev talent matters more than ever because AI multiplies the impact of great developers.

The impact of AI on integrations
Jake Hagle, Solution Engineer Manager, shares how AI makes integrations more powerful than ever, yet many companies remain stuck with slow and costly in-house builds. He explains why shifting to an embedded iPaaS enables faster, smarter, and safer integrations that unlock AI's full potential.

Monthly Prismatic Insider webinars
Join us next month as Taylor Reece will show you how to organize your integration code repository, leverage GitHub Actions to deploy connectors and integrations, and include best practices for sharing logic between custom connectors and code-native integrations.

Product updates
FIFO queuing
You can now configure a trigger to process webhook requests one at a time using a FIFO (first-in, first-out) queue when:
- It's important to process requests in the order they're received.
- The downstream system you're sending data to has strict rate limits.
- You're encountering concurrent execution rate limits in Prismatic.
To enable FIFO on a flow, click your flow's trigger and select the "Enable FIFO" toggle. If you've previously implemented your own queue (as documented here), you can simplify your integration from four flows (queue setup, queue writer, queue reader, queue tear-down) into a single, FIFO-enabled flow.
Embedded workflow builder updates
We’ve introduced a set of improvements to make embedded workflow builder more powerful, easier to adapt, and better aligned with your product experience.
You can now create reusable templates directly in embedded workflow builder. Org users can publish templates that streamline onboarding, give customers quick starting points, and reduce setup time.
Embedded workflow builder theming options ensure workflows fully reflect your brand. We included neutral theming, which automatically generates a consistent palette from a single neutral value, giving all UI elements a cohesive look without extra configuration.
Organizations can now troubleshoot workflows just like integrations. Teams gain visibility into logs, execution history, and success rates, helping them resolve issues faster and easily support end users without needing direct access to customer environments.
Connector updates
We are continuously adding to and updating our connector library. Check out the following connectors:
- Guru – Manage cards, collections, folders, and more.
- GoTo Webinar – Schedule, manage, and subscribe to webinars, registrants, attendees, and more.
- Oracle Database – Query an Oracle database.
Want expert assistance on these connectors or your next integration? Schedule a build session with the Prismatic team. We'd love to help!
