Return on investment
In this budgeting season, we often find ourselves needing to show return on investment (ROI) for the tools we use. I'm excited to share that we've created an ROI calculator that you can use to determine your ROI for Prismatic. SaaS companies that use Prismatic spend less engineering time on integrations, grow revenue, reduce churn, and reduce costs on tools/infrastructure. Turn that into real numbers that you and your CFO can trust by checking out the ROI calculator here.
Reach out to us in your Slack channel or email if you want to create a more detailed ROI. We'd be glad to help.

Building an Integration Isn't the Hard Part
Ever wondered what it would take to build your own full-fledged integration environment for your product? Developer Advocate Taylor Reece takes us behind the scenes to look at the infrastructure and maintenance concerns that an embedded iPaaS handles. Read this post to explore the full extent of what it would take to build a robust runner, OAuth 2.0, configuration, webhook, event scheduling, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
How to Create Outcome-Driven Roadmaps with Integrations
Outcome-driven roadmaps turn things around, making you focus on the why and not the what. If your product roadmap focuses on solving your company's and your customers' specific integration-related needs, the outcomes will speak for themselves. Find examples of outcome-driven objectives for integrations in this blog post.

Connection templates
We're excited to introduce "Connection Templates." These templates allow you to pre-populate input values for connections. When used by your organization, they save time and promote consistency for integrations that have common components. For our embedded workflow designer customers, connection templates can simplify the design experience by pre-populating and hiding connection inputs that are the same for all customers.
New connectors
Here are the latest connectors we have added to our library:
- Confluence – Manage spaces, pages, and content properties.
- Calendly – Manage the scheduling of events, attendee availability, and retrieve pertinent data on users and attendees.
- Expensify – Download expense report data for analysis or insertion into your accounting package, provision accounts for new hires, and much more.
Thinking about your 2024 integration roadmap? Curious what other SaaS companies are building? Here are the list of the top 5 most used connectors in 2023 by Prismatic customers.
- Salesforce – Query, create, update or delete Salesforce records.
- Slack – Send messages to Slack channels and users.
