GitHub (2026-10-27)
Updated to GitHub REST API version 2026-03-10 and refined action labels, inputs, and webhook events:
- Updated every action, trigger, and data source except Raw Request to call the new API version, so Create Workflow Dispatch Event now returns the dispatched run's ID and URLs instead of an empty result; Raw Request still sends no version header
- Updated the labels of 18 actions to verb-resource order, such as Create Pull Request (previously Pulls Create); action keys are unchanged, so existing steps keep working
- Updated the Events list on the Create Repository Webhook action and the Event Webhook trigger to the events GitHub delivers to repository webhooks, adding 17 such as
check_run,dependabot_alert, andsecret_scanning_alertand removing 13 that never fired - Updated the Create Pull Request action to remove the Issue Number input, which was never sent to GitHub, and the Create Reference action to remove the Key input, which GitHub does not document
- Fixed the Select Issue data source so an issue picked on List Issue Comments returns that issue's comments instead of a not-found error or another issue's comments
Reconfiguration notice: issues and pull requests returned by List Repository Issues, Create Pull Request, List Pull Requests, and the New and Updated Records trigger no longer include assignee (read assignees instead) or merge_commit_sha, and repository objects, such as those from List Organization Repositories, no longer include has_downloads, use_squash_pr_title_as_default, or master_branch. Check any step that reads those fields.
